Who We Are
Steven Logsdon
Steve is a highly experienced General Adjuster and certified Appraiser/Umpire with over eight years of independent adjusting expertise, supported by more than 20 years in residential and commercial construction. Steve is a proud U.S. Navy veteran, and honed his precision, discipline, and problem-solving skills aboard a submarine—qualities that continue to define his work today.
As the President of JS Property Appraisals, Steve specializes in large-loss claims and complex appraisals. He is widely respected for his impartial approach in dispute resolution, particularly as an appraiser, umpire, and building consultant.
In addition to his claims expertise, Steve brings valuable insight from managing large-scale commercial projects, including work at high-security sites like Vandenberg Space Force Base, Fresno Air National Guard, and University California Merced / Bakersfield. Whether assessing structural damage or facilitating fair settlements, the combination of Steve’s field experience, technical proficiency, and integrity make him a trusted choice for appraisals.
Mark Logsdon
An experienced insurance appraiser and general adjuster, Mark has been working in property damage assessment, claims evaluation, and insurance consulting since 2014. He brings a proven track record in managing complex caseloads and delivering precise appraisals, with deep expertise in roofing systems, safety-critical environments, and modern construction methods.
Mark conducts thorough appraisals to determine accurate repair or replacement costs, supporting efficient and well-documented claim resolutions. He collaborates closely with opposing appraisers, contractors, and umpires, while staying current on evolving industry standards, regulations, and building codes.
During his time at Pilot Catastrophe Services, Mark led adjuster training programs focused on damage assessment and policy interpretation, all while managing up to 100 claims per month. His attention to detail and balanced approach have earned him recognition as a reliable, knowledgeable presence in the property claims field.
